Product Overview

A screw conveyor is a continuous conveying machine that utilizes rotating helical blades to push material along a fixed casing slot in a directional manner, thus achieving horizontal, inclined, or vertical conveyance of material. It is commonly known as a "screw auger". Its core component is a rotating shaft with helical blades, commonly referred to as the screw shaft. When the screw shaft starts rotating under the drive of a driving device, the friction generated between the blades and the material causes the material to receive a forward thrust, thus achieving continuous conveyance of material.

The screw conveyor is primarily composed of components such as the screw blade (screw body), casing, and drive device. Specifically, the main body of the screw conveyor consists of the head bearing, tail bearing, suspension bearing, screw, casing, cover plate, and base; while the drive device comprises an electric motor, reducer, coupling, and base.

Screw conveyors are widely used in various sectors of the national economy, including cement and coal ash mixing, grain industry, building materials industry, chemical industry, machinery manufacturing, and transportation. They are suitable for conveying various powdered, granular, and small block materials. The bulk materials conveyed include grain products such as cereals, beans, and flour, building materials such as cement, clay, and sand, chemicals such as salts, alkalis, and fertilizers, as well as bulk goods such as coal, coke, and ore.
